Red & Black Floral Print Dress
Florals are not just for spring; and I hope this red and black floral print dress inspires you to incorporate them into your outfit during fall and winter just as much as you wear them during spring and summer!
I fell in love with this dress for a bunch of reasons, but the first things that caught my attention were the colour palette and the floral print. Red is a big fashion trend right now (so that was a win!), and I really liked that the floral print was on a medium-large scale, which I think adds an interesting element to the dress as it differs a lot from traditional spring-summer florals. These two features combined make it the perfect fall-winter floral.
Two other elements that caught my attention were the fact that this floral print dress has long sleeves and a longer hem; which are both key during the cooler months to keep you a tad warmer. Long sleeves on a dress is also a huge plus for women who like to cover up their arms (read: me!).
The long sleeves and long dress length also mean that you don’t have to worry as much about what to wear with the dress, and make it easier to wear ‘as is’. I love longer sleeves on dresses because having to pick the right cardigan or blazer to match the dress can be tough; and let’s face it – the less we have to worry about, the faster we can get dressed in the morning.
