Today I want to chat about Valentine’s Day style for a minute, because February is tomorrow! *gasp* I know! I don’t know where January went either! But February is practically here, which means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
Have you decided what you’re going to wear yet? Whether you’re going out to dinner with your love, your family or your girlfriends, I hope today’s outfit gives you a little inspiration.
When I think “Valentines Fashion” for a night out, I usually lean towards a little black dress – or to be more festive a pink dress or a red dress. But today I wanted to share a different approach to dressing for Valentine’s Day, and that’s pairing a maxi dress (one you already own will be perfect, or if you have the urge for a new one, no one around here is going to blame you), and pairing it with fancier accessories for a unique and stylish date night look.
In my opinion, it’s actually a pretty brilliant way to dress for the occasion, because that extra long skirt provides for a little bit of warmth during this chilly time of year. It’s also also a fresh take on dressing up for the occasion.
What do you think of dressing up a maxi dress? Do you already know what you’re going to wear for Valentine’s Day? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section at the end of this post!
