How To Wear A Tweed Blazer
I fell in love with this tweed blazer the moment I laid eyes on it at Club Monaco. The tweed is absolutely stunning – it has really pretty, and subtle, metallic thread in the weave; it has a modern deconstructed vibe because of the frayed edges on the hem, collar and cuffs; and it has ribbon bows on the sleeves which add such a pretty feminine detail to the jacket. So, if you’re wondering how to wear a tweed blazer, then I hope you find this blog post inspiring. I am constantly thinking up different ways I can wear it, and welcome all and any suggestions you have for me. Please leave them in the comment section so I can try them out, and so that all of you can get even more outfit ideas for how to wear a tweed blazer!
For this particular outfit, I wanted to go with a more dressy, put together look, so I decided to pair the tweed blazer with my button-up mini skirt from Old Navy. The navy blue colour of the skirt matched the blue in my blazer perfectly, and I think they look pretty sharp together. Since I wore this outfit during the holidays I decided to wear these shoes to add a pop of red into the outfit for a more festive look; however, if you’re not into the red, I would recommend wearing either nude shoes or blue shoes with this outfit. For a more causal look I would even go with ankle boots or a pair of over-the-knee-boots.
